Training is available for:

You can do online training anywhere, anytime. It takes less than one hour to finish, and you can do it at your own pace by saving your progress as you go. You will be able to download a certificate after completing a short post-training questionnaire.

Getting management on board
Learn how to secure management’s support and commitment to implement the Healthy Choices guidelines in your organisation.
This module will provide you with the tools and strategies to confidently engage with management, and secure their support for implementing Healthy Choices in your organisation.
You will learn:
- why management is important for a successful implementation
- how to successfully gain their commitment and remove barriers to implementation
- strategies for maintaining management’s commitment to the Healthy Choices guidelines.
This training is suitable for anyone leading the implementation of the Healthy Choices guidelines in their organisation and who needs management's support to authorise the project and/or allocate resources.
Key learning areas include:
- understanding the key decision makers in your organisation
- know your ask – what is it you are asking management for?
- writing a business case
- communicating effectively with management
- troubleshooting and negotiating barriers
- maintaining management support

You will learn:
- the importance of promoting healthy eating in your community
- about the Victorian Governments’ Healthy Choices guidelines for retail food outlets and caterers
- how foods and drinks are classified using a traffic light system: GREEN, AMBER and RED
- how to label and promote foods and drinks according to their classification
