Love what you eat this National Nutrition Week

National Nutrition Week 2026

This National Nutrition Week, we’re proud to support the National Nutrition Foundation’s 2026 theme: Love what you eat.

Running from 12–18 October 2026, National Nutrition Week is an opportunity to celebrate food in all the places we live, learn, work and play.

Food is more than what is on our plate. It connects us to culture, community and each other. It can bring joy, spark curiosity, support wellbeing and create opportunities for people to come together.

For schools, early childhood services, workplaces and community settings, National Nutrition Week is a chance to celebrate food in practical, inclusive and meaningful ways.

Celebrate food in your setting

There are many simple ways to bring National Nutrition Week to life in your setting.

You might:

  • run a food-themed activity with children or students
  • share a favourite recipe with your team
  • create a colourful fruit and vegetable display
  • start a conversation about food, culture and connection
  • plan a shared morning tea or lunch
  • explore where food comes from
  • use mealtimes as an opportunity to connect and celebrate

The focus is not on perfection. It is about creating positive food experiences that feel welcoming, practical and relevant to your community.

Discover free resources

To help people get involved, the National Nutrition Foundation has created a range of free resources and celebration guides for National Nutrition Week 2026.

These resources include practical ideas for workplaces, schools, early childhood services and community organisations to help make celebrating easy and achievable.
