This recipe was developed by chefs at Western District Health Service.
Method
- Heat the oil in a larger pot.
- Fry off the garlic and onion, add the mince and curry powder and continue to fry off, stirring continuously until mince beginning to colour.
- Add the vegetables and stir, cook for a further 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and cabbage has wilted.
- Add the rice, stock and soy sauce, once the Chow Mein is boiling, turn down to a simmer and cook, lid on for 12-14 minutes or until rice is cooked and liquid absorbed. Serve.
