The Victorian Government recommends that Victorian long day care services use the Healthy Eating Advisory Service’s FoodChecker to assess their menus. FoodChecker is a free menu assessment tool that supports you to review and assess your menu against the Menu planning guidelines for long day care. 

The Pre-FoodChecker checklist has been developed to help you collect all the information you will need to complete your long day care menu assessment on FoodChecker, prior to beginning your assessment.  

Having all the required information ready to go will help you save time and complete your menu assessment more efficiently.
