Western District Health Service GREEN recipe booklet
Western District Health Service (WDHS) has compiled over 150 GREEN (Best Choice) recipes that have been assessed by HEAS against the Healthy choices: food and drink classification guide and are available for you to download as a single recipe booklet. The recipes have been written by and for chefs in organisations that are implementing the Healthy Choices guidelines. This means that they are not only delicious and nutritious but also profitable, easy to use, and designed specifically for catering, staff meals and food outlet menus.
The recipes cover all relevant menu categories including:
- Breakfast dishes
- Morning teas
- Sandwiches, rolls & wraps
- Paninis, Focaccias, Turkish, Pitas
- Lunch (wet and other)
- Quiches, Tarts, Frittatas
- Pasta and Rice
- Condiments, Icings and Dressings.
Also included in the recipe booklet area small selection of bonus healthier recipes for sweet baked items, some salads and dips.
